Paige Hendricks Russey – A Brief Profile

Paige has led PHPR since its founding in 1978.

Paige Hendricks Russey began her career as a journalist, advertising designer and sales professional with newspapers in Alabama and New York.  She worked in public relations with community and regional theatre in upstate New York and Dallas before starting her own PR consulting firm in 1978 in Dallas. PHPR served all of the Southwest and beyond from Fort Worth, Texas, headquarters from 1984 until 2021, when she reduced client work.

In addition to serving privately and publicly-held corporations, Paige has consulted with dozens of small businesses, professionals, and non-profits and worked on diverse public issues and campaigns.  Her experience includes brand development, business development consulting, investor relations, political campaigns, issues management, and integrated marketing communications for many groups, especially during transitions, expansions, and acquisitions. She also consulted for companies in England, India, Canada, and Mexico. She and her firm created outstanding programs for an extensively varied client base, including these organizations: DRC Solutions; ArtWorks Foundation; Reitman Consulting; Ellerbe Fine Foods; Enterhost; The Rigg Group; Steinway Piano Gallery; NurseCore; The Texas Hip and Knee Center; Casa Manana; DFB Pharmaceuticals and Healthpoint Ltd.; Eddie V’s Prime Seafood; Sheraton Fort Worth Hotel & Spa; Dallas Academy of Ophthalmology; Classic Wine; Summit Bancshares; and Tarrant Area Food Bank.

Paige has been active in the community, too, having held board positions with dozens of major North Texas area social service and arts organizations. She is currently on the board of Educational First Steps and Stage West and on the advisory board for Ballet Concerto. Having served for many years on TCU’s Schieffer College of Communication Board of Visitors, Paige was formerly a director for the Rotary Club of Fort Worth and has been a member of many other professional associations and civic groups.

An accomplished strategist, writer, and designer, Paige studied political science at Mount Vernon College in Washington, D.C., and holds a B.A. in journalism and English from Texas Christian University.  She did graduate work in English at the University of North Texas and completed the Harvard/MIT course on negotiations and dealing with an angry public.

She now limits her practice to high-level strategic consulting.
